No way. the fight only went 3 rounds and I gave two to Williams. I also had Williams beating Martinez by a single point as did many others here. Fighting Pavlik and Williams is totally different, Pavlik is a sloth.

Sergio Martinez WILL LOSE to Paul Williams once again! They should probably wait and clean out the division. I would like to see a Paul Williams Vs. Spinks and Martinez vs. Cotto first!!! Then let the winners have at it. Lots of talent at 154 these days...

I thought Williams was headed back to WW? Anyhow, the first fight was great, just about all you could ask for, 12 rounds of action, knockdowns on both sides and so close that people are still arguing who won.

Imagine a fight of this quality on a Floyd-Manny undercard.

Wouldnt that be nice and economically friendly.

yeah what happened to the days of the Champs taking out the top contenders b4 fighting each other...i miss those days..I prefer martinez-williams to happen, but for selfish reasons..i'm scared if they put Cotto in there with either one it wont be pretty for my boy

Alfredo Angulo, the WBO Jr Middleweight King??? Wtf did he ever do 2 be called the king of anything?? He's not even the #1 champion of the WBO. Anyway, I feel where Dibella is coming from. If Paul and Sergio are the best, let them fight the rest of the pack and then get it on again.

Martinez had Paul figured out by the 9th round (or was it tenth), but he just didn't have the energy to get the job done. He was on the verge of collapsing. He figured out he could use the left hook (i think it was) in addition to the lead right, and Paul couldnt defend against both at the same time.

He took some rounds off in the Pavlik fight and it did wonders, I think he'll look great against Williams in their second fight. FOTY candidate again.
