Like it was mentioned earlier, with the culture of sport today, with so many cheaters around, the easiest way to turn people against you is by refusing to participate in testing for performance enhancers. Pac dug his own grave when he refused a simple set of tests that would have earned him somewhere in the range of $25-$40 million dollars. That's why some people are pissed off at him.

For me, I'm skeptical of just about everyone. Floyd could be juicing. Everyone should be tested.

I've actually said that over and over and over and over and over and over,

    for months.

So, no, I don't care about just Pac. I'm just not into singling out fighters because of someones baseless accusation. I'm all for better testing across the board,

    for everyone.

But why should I cry about the other fights going on,

if I'm not the one saying we absolutely need better testing?

Thats not my stance. My stance is,

    if you want better testing,

make it across the board for all fighters.

State it now, johncods so you can be completely and utterly embarrassed:

Do you believe that the WADA code has caught only one person in eight years?

if you are a promotional company and you say OST is beneficial and you only test one fighter in your stable, you ain't really serious about OSt.

An external contract formed by boxing stakeholders (promoters, networks, sanctioning bodies, state commissions) with USADA would have 100% coverage on a sliding scale. This means all pro boxers can be tested, but it's likely the top 5% will be the ones who get tested given the practicalities of testing every participant-----> you can't.

However testing for all championship fights and frequent testing of the "faces" and "stars" of boxing maintains the sports integrity.

Everyone on here is essentially trashing it because it is not perfect and won't test 100% of all participants....and this is their justification not to have it. This is true. this is reality..it won't test everyone.....however the current "inferior" system doesn't either.........so i don't understand your argument. Your arguing to keeep the current system in place over a better one, because the better one isn't PERFECT!!!!!!

So why is this tygart guy so adamant on the blood testing to be all the way up to the fight?? Pac's already stated he'd give urine randomly all up to the day of the fight just not blood.

                  Because urine doesn't detect everything?

Because blood testing has caught more people using EPO than urine testing?

                  I don't know, I'm just guessing.

You already know man. It's the same supporters for OST for the Pac-May fight. Sometimes I think they just want to see manny busted for PEDs than see the fight at all. I see good points from you and a number of other throughout this thread and this article explains it all.. From the inefficiency of the drug test, possibility and dangers of blood testing, 1 caught in 8 years (hgh?), Tygarts agenda seeing some dollar signs (cut of ppv, etc..), effectiveness of urine.. Again, all for fully implementing OST throughout boxing as a whole, not singling one or two boxers out.
