The risks talked about are non existant because the Olympics already test their athletes. We havent heard of any such infections. What makes it worse many boxers are now getting pro testing which leaves the Nevada Commission without any respect and eventually they wont have a role in boxing.Comment

The speed of light is 299,792,458. I know that because it has been tested, measured and confirmed by the scientific community. I do not have the knowledge or resources to demonstrate it myself. The reason I trust that number is because the scientific community supports it overwhelmingly by consensus.
The best drug program in the world is WADA's anti-doping code. The reason I know this is because it is a program built by consensus, and contributed to by the best anti-doping scientists in the world, and supported internationally as the standard for doping test in sport. What Nevada thinks is irrelevant. There is already an overwhelming consensus, whether they choose to take part in it or not.
Sometimes you have to trust the experts, and WADA are the experts. By extension, USADA implements WADA's anti-doping code, including all of its standards and protocols. So what is better. Nevada's program, or WADA's?
Who gives a **** about Floyd and Pac? If it was athlete A vs athlete B competing in any sport, and either rejected participating in a real testing program, it should raise su****ion.
Pac and Floyd had a chance to do something good for the sport, even if the motivation behind demanding the testing was idiotic. Pac got it wrong, and now things are a mess as they always are in boxing. They can still get it right, but the commissions, sanctioning bodies, promoters and fighters have little interest. Since boxing has become a second-tier sport, the public pressure is not the same as it is in baseball, and the government isn't as likely to step in and force them to clean up. Hopefully I'm wrong, since this is becoming a minor sports headline.
Oh, and Dr Robert Voy worked as chief medical officer for the United States Olympic Committee back in the 80s, when drug testing was absolutely primitive by todays standards.Last edited by Red_Menace; 06-10-2010, 04:37 PM.Comment

I would side with the NSAC had they not been suspected of throwing away failed tests in the past to make sure that the show goes on. I side with the USADA because they will do their job. Any and everyone is subjected to being bribed though.Comment

Any of the amphetamines group , any of the anabolics in low doses or they will run hot , any of the vasodilaters like Glenbuterol , some of the anti-inflammatorys like Dexamethasone or Prednisolone which amongst other things will dilate capillaries allowing more blood for vital organs and muscle and will stop a bad cut from bleeding like magic , there are many more PEDS used the race guys have tried every thing known to man to make a horse or dog stronger with more stamina and speed , you boys are very narrow minded to what goes on .Comment
