I've always wondered about that. There was no intention of sending Ali into combat in Vietnam. He was told that he would be giving exhibitions and talks to the troops, just .like Joe Louis was, and other prominent boxers, film stars and entertainers. It was a soft enlistment. This has always been hidden by DUMBOS and those who want to make political and racial mischief. But it happens to be fact.
Ali, however, was hepped up on all this black ****** junk, a NEW convert, so he was far more "devout" and Gung Ho that the others, he took it seriously, and became anti American.
It was just unfortunate that although he was bright and "sassy" he wasn't really very bright, when it came to common-sense, and people. He was almost illiterate.

Thats just a fact. You cant even argue it. Ali was never dominant, he was always struggling, always. Jones, Young, Shavers? All got robbed. How can anyone give the Shavers fight to Ali? He won rounds for being able to block punches with his face?
I mean in the early 60's spectators claimed Doug Jones clearly beat Ali, Banks knocked Ali down. Henry Cooper knocked ali out and made him ******ed. In the late 60's he was hiding out and a coward, beat guys who were shot in the gut, or fought champions like the great Brian London... Early 70's he lost to Norton and Frazier. People always say, "oh he was rusty against Norton"...HE HAD FOUGHT 13 TIMES SINCE COMING BACK. Then in the mid and late 70's he won joke decisions, i dont even care if you think he beat Norton twice, or Shavers or Young, you have to realize that Wlad hasnt had anything like this during he reign. He also lost to 6 pro fights 66% winning percentage Leon Spinks. He then lost to Holmes and Berbick in the early 80s.
So when was Ali ever even close to as dominant as Wlad. Late 60's when he was a coward?
So I dont care if you think the comp was better, it is undeniable that Wlad right now is more dominant that Ali ever was.
wlad is fighting in, arguably, the weakest era for heavyweights EVER.
Ali would have whipped Wladimirs ass. And Big George Foreman would have kicked the **** out of the other 1.
