I mean, he was doing pretty well, and his knockdowns early on were more of a balance thing than a beating thing.

Even Pacquiao himself said Cotto's body shots were extremely painful.

Steward could instill some modifications and make it a whale of a match.

People so easily jump on a bandwagon in hindsight that they assume a rematch will happen like the first. If that's the case, Bowe and Holyfield never would have laced 'em up again, as everyone said it would be a repeat with Holy taking a worse beating. Didn't happen. Evander won. People said the same in the Pavlik vs. Taylor rematch, that Taylor would KO'd even earlier. Didn't happen. It was actually a pretty close decision.j

I don't think Margarito deserves the option of facing either boxer, but would like to see Cotto get redemption. Cotto has a chance, Margarito has looked human without adamantium gloves.
