To Sin City-Redemption against Pac wouldn't be as big as a redemption bout with Plasterboy.
BUT Pac COULD be on PEDS on his win over Cotto thus a rematch could also be a redemtion against Pac with the thorough drug testing on their rematch (NOT USADA THOUGH)...

So it hardly came as a surprise when, moments after stopping Yuri Foreman in nine rounds at Yankee Stadium last weekend, Miguel Cotto’s name was immediately aligned with a possible (or at least suggested) rematch with Pacquiao.

The same type of chatter followed Antonio Margarito’s return to the ring a month ago, in his first fight in more than a year. Margarito has yet to be re-licensed anywhere in the United States, yet there his name was, aligned with Pacquiao as a possible “Plan B,” in case the super fight everyone desires – yet those involved are no longer permitted to discuss – once again fails to materialize. yes it will man, this prob the only fight not including pac or may that can make some serious $$$, im talkin big time! margarito has a very strong following with his mexican fans and cotto brings the PR fans, aside from nationality people are in general fans of one or the other and the history that has been written between these 2 just screams for another fight. and this fight will do well anywhere....yankee stadium, L.A., Vegas....not to mention the amount of people that would grab a couple of 6 packs and buy the PPV :-) I know my boxing gym held the first Marg vs Cotto at the gym, it was hot to watch it at a boxing gym lol

But a Marg rematch would make more sense, because it can be sold on the fact that marg cheated and that was the reason Cotto lost.

yeap, I agree, unless he losses again....

Jake on point as usual, there is no other fight that could bring so much money and so much exposure as a rematch between these two, they are at a point in their careers where they need each other. One for redemption and the other to "clear" his name from that amazing win than most people think he cheated on. They are about a year or so left of their careers and it's the right time for them to fight again.
