    My thoughts on Cotto/Floyd!!

1st things 1st,much respect to Floyd on the win over Mosley,he showed some serious heart in the 2nd round on!!After being hurt like he was,it was amazing to see him dominate the rest of the fight, period!!

As for Cotto,I didn't think he was gonna be much of a contest for the supposedly bigger & faster Foreman, well he was displaying a great jab & devastating power on saturday!!So basically,if Manny & Floyd can't agree to anything,Cotto is sitting at 154,with superstar creds fighting better than the undefeated version & u know he aint afraid of either,Cotto-Floyd for the title has a certain ring to it,no??

      cotto\floyd

I would pay to see it. cotto- strong jab which works against floyd plus strong puncher, knows how to cut off the ring and lacks defence but is trained by stewart now. mayweather- Best boxer in the game, great defense but lacks in the power department which will allow cotto to take chances. i dont know styles makes fights. I still see floyd winning by UD but who knows.

I like Cotto but current Cotto is easy work for Floyd, he's still vulnerable to straight right hands, even in the Foreman fight.

Pre-Margarito Cotto would've gave Floyd many problems.

He just might,I didn't say he wouldn't,but if Pacman & Floyd can't agree, that's the best fight to make!!Besides honestly,Cotto's win at 154 was a dominant stoppage with Stewart training him!!Floyd's only win was a boring sd over Oscar, they can work wonders over this theory, that's all I'm sayin homey!!

I think Cotto stands the best chance to beat Mayweather. Mayweather doesn't know how to defend against a jab. Look at De La Hoya, he was controling the rhythm with his jab. Cotto also has decent defense and when Cotto boxes, he has powerful, fast hands and is good at cutting off the ring and applying good pressure. Cotto also mixes his punches well going upstairs and downstairs. I see Mayweather really having trouble with Cotto's skills.

I got floyd winning but I would love to see the fight. I think it has a good chance at being a gread boxing match.

I think dudes are under rating floyds power. He got some pop.

Cotto has no chance whatsoever at any time, he's simply not good enough or gifted enough to even be in the ring with Floyd and everytime he gets close to the fight he gets his ass whooped. How come Cotto never called Floyd out? Why did Cotto's promoter call the "Pre-Margarito" Cotto too green for Floyd? If "Pre-Margarito" Cotto was the best version doesn't it speak volumes that his ower (Arum) called him green and not ready? If that was as good as he got and that was too Green then it's not crazy to just assume any version of Cotto gets humiliated Vs Floyd.
