Will you adapt, or will you disappear?

Adapt to your fighter being gone by following fighters you find interesting but just don't forget who your hero was. My fighter has been long gone, Roy Jones Jr and recently Taylor. I'm still here rooting for the likes of Mayweather, Vitali, Dawson. Berto grew on me lately. I think after Mayweather retires it will be between Dawson and Berto. But at the end of the day it will always be Jones.

Omar is a beast. I try not to get to caught up in the hype of prospects though because after all, they are just prospects. We'll see what he has to offer in the next few years though. I do agree though, Omar is a lot like Miguel and I might become a big fan of his.

But on the real, B-Hop is my favorite fighter.
Yea man, I have a lot of respect for Hopkins. I mean after what he did to Tito how can I not? I damn near cried after that fight. I was so depressed. But, I also felt that fight made me a better boxing fan. I was such a fan boy during those days. I thought Tito was unstoppable and was ranking with the likes of SRR. No lie. That night brought me back to Earth. I learned more about styles and size and that in any giving night any fighter can lose. Just became more realistic after that night. I still miss those days though.

I'll just wait until the next time I see a boxer on SportsCenter then they'll become my new favorite.

Adapt? Adapt to what? Fighters retiring?

Thats been going on for centuries. It would be like me giving up TV when the sopranos was canceled.

I forgot to ask you about the Cotto being ranked number 2 at 154 thread. If Miguel beats Spinks and gets another belt at 154 would you consider him the top guy even though Spinks really isn't one of the best.

I was so damn happy, I was gonna rub it off in people's faces but I couldn't, as much as I wanted to. I saw it in their face; **** even I felt bad. Weird thing is every Tito fan I knew didn't make excuses!!!

                    How time has changed!

Yea I would, He would be a unified champ. And, now has two wins against top 10. And, honestly I have Spinks at #5 right behind Cotto. So Cotto beating him or any guy in the top 10 I would consider putting Cotto the top guy. But, it also depends on what Martinez and P-Will do in the meantime. If they fight at 154 again or not. But, give me one more good win and I don't mind him up there. I might move him up if he beats Berto(even though he is not ranked) at 154 TBH. I think that would be a good win for Cotto. And, I think Cotto stops him too.
