I say the greatest fighter to come out of Mexico. Then Finito Lopez and the rest.

JC gave Haugen a fine beating for a few rounds before stopping him.....seemed like it was easy for him.

Sure he has alot of softies on his record but you show me any ATG with alot of fights and I will show you some soft opposition on their records.

JC ended his career having been a 3 division world champion with 106 wins in 114 fights with 6 defeats while only 3 of the opponents who he lost to were left unavenged and all unavenged losses were when he was past prime or at an un-natural weight for him(140+) and this is debatable but maybe all of his losses took place when he was past his prime.

I just want to give JC some appreciation here because I feel he is not really celebrated much and credited as the ATG he certainly is, mostly because the forum I feel is very biased against fighter who were not exclusively sweet science practitioners. Even so as far as ATG status is concerned skills don't fall into my equation, its all about wins and who you beat when you beat them regardless of what method you used.
he was a brutal fighter the most brutal i've seen in those weigh classes he fought it was great watching him fight destryoed his oponents why you think he made 132000 fans in azteca stadium(bigest crowd ever not even for the world cups of 70,86 in azteca)alamodome 67,000.peopel love to watch him fight he truely had that crowd pleasing style.unfortunally he fell into terrible adictions wich prevent him to get even bigger.but he is still a ATG no one can deny that.
