Pacquiao Is already a top 10 ATG, a win over Mayweather puts him ahead of SRR.

Pacquiao would not be on the top 50 list of lots of people; I personally would place him somewhere between #70 and #80. Saying that he's Top 10 is just ******. Beating Mayweather would only move him up a few places, and that won't happen. Please, forget Sugar Ray Robinson, now - Pacquiao should try to make sure that he is universally recognized as superior to Mayweather before even thinking about the P4P Top 10.

Wins over Morales, Barrera, JMM, Hatton, Cotto, DLH show that he delivers in the big fights. The Henry Armstrong of our era.

A win over Mayweather will mean he would of beaten another ATG. We should all apreciate the greatness that is Manny Pacquiao an inspiration to his people and a true global icon.

The likes of Duran, Hearns, Hagler would not be able to cope with the P4P king. I can see SRL outboxing Pac early on in the fight but Pacs awkward angle punching will mean that he stops SRL late
SRR would be a 50/50 tossup. However who better than Roach to come up with the perfect game plan to beat him. I can see Pac posing the same problems Jake La Motta did.
Manny is indeed a phenomenon but what happens when he dont beat floyd? And as far as fim beating SRL.....U gotta be kidding me!

Pacquiao aint **** but a catch weight, cherry picking fool....his eight title will be something thats never been done before because, NO ONE HAS BEATEN a fighter at 145 for 147 strap then turned around and beat that same person at 150 for a 154 strap....that is not greatness!

I can commend my fellow posters for trashing this thread just like I would trash a thread about Floyd saying the same thing. At least dumbass posts unite us all.

shut up fool. its not even close. and i find this **** about 7 world titles in 7 divisions a load of bollocks. since when does having the IBO title go towards calling yourself a champion of the weight? it doesnt. its a minor title. whats next? you gonna count the WBU awell?

I ask this question when i was still posting at esb in 2007. Who does Pac need to beat to become the GOAT? And most posters said he needs to clean 130-147 which at that time seems impossible. Pac beating Hatton, DLH and Cotto seems impossible way back then. If you said Pac KOs all three you will be branded Delusional. Well.. Pac did that and more!! There's only one left there to be Koed and that one is Chickening out.

If not Floyd, then Pac can go ahead and Get Cotto's belt at 154, then add Pwill and Martinez Lineal belt at 160, then there will be no more arguments who's the Greatest.!!
