Jab there's no reason to try and have a rational debate with some people on here, this guy is one of them, he clearly won't even know the name of some of the people you listed.

Maybe he'll take the time to learn about some of these fighters, who knows?

Even if Pac beats Mayweather, Pac is not the GOAT. Maybe if he beats other fighters such ast P. Williams, Sergio, Martinez, and Berto/Bradley, then maybe.

I leave it up to the boxing experts, not you guys here, but the media.

Leonard, Pep, Langford, Gans, Charles, Duran, Ali, Louis, Moore, etc, etc., etc., all have much better claims. Than there is McLarnin, Ross, Canzoneri, Conn, Burley, Holman Williams.....I can go on here for awhile. Pac is great, but there are many fighters in history who simply had better careers because they beat better fighters.
With all due respect, Manny Pacquiao is THE ONLY FIGHTER TO EVER WIN LINEAR TITLES IN FOuR DIVISIONS. Henry Armstrong, the second greatest fighter currently of all time, won 3. By beating Mayweather, Manny would add his 5th. That is UNHEARD OF. You don't need to give me a history lesson, I know all about the legends of the sport.

You can argue the case other boxers in history have better resumes. But i doubt you can show one with as much dominant ability in fights as Pac has showed.

Harry Greb, middleweight champion of the world, the only man to defeat Gene Tunney. No one has film on him in action so it is hard to rate him.

Armstrong, the first man to win 3 lineal world titles in three divisons.

Benny Leonard, maybe the greatest lightweight champion of all time.

The Will of the Wisp, maybe the greatest featherweight of all time and along with Benny Leonard, the forebearer of the modern american "boxing" style

Sam Langford, uncrowned heavyweight champion and one of the hardest punchers of all time, may have done so blind with one eye.

Joe Gans, lightheavyweight champion of the world and eventual trainer to Jack Johsnon

I could go on and on if you'd like...

Prime for prime, Roy Jones Jr is more dominant the Manny Pac. And bere there primes Roy is better than pac. Well see what pac looks like at 40, but he is not better than Roy Jones at anything in there prime.

You obviously don't know about them or you would recognize they beat much better fighters during their careers, and that resume is the hallmark of p4p. Lineal means very little nowadays with so many split titles and champions not easily being able to fight one another. I would put much more stock in Pac if he had unified 2 or 3 divisions.
