I'm still not convinced though, because Byrd didn't make Vitali miss to cause a shoulder injury, he made him miss because it was his defensive style to move his upper body instead of blocking punches, so it's a bit over the edge to say Byrd ''caused'' the injury on his own
I never said Byrd was trying to cause the injury lol. Hes not Nostradamus, and has no knowledge of Vitali's physiology.

But the injury was a direct result of Vitali missing Byrd, not a freak accident caused by magic. Look at the video again...you will get exhausted just watching Vitali miss.

Byrds plan was to tire Vitali using constant motion, and pressuring him.

I never got why people don't count this as a legit win for Byrd.

Tearing your arm because you missed a punch should not be an excuse to lose, it's not like it went to the cards and he was robbed of a decision. In fact Vitali quit himself.

I never liked Byrd because of his style and obnoxious facial expressions, but I've got to give him credit for his defensive abilities and how he fought (and sometimes beat) much bigger guys.

He was a SMW in the Olympics and had his first bout at 169. Vitali is 7 inches taller, had 33 lbs and 6 inches in reach on Byrd. McCline is half a foot taller, has a reach advantage of 8 inches, and weighed more than 55 lbs. more than Byrd. Golota was a damn big HW as well. Tua is short, but still had almost 20 lbs on Byrd, and that was a relatively light Tua for that time period.

Say what you want about him not continuing but Byrd at best won like 2 rounds but it was probably more like 1.

It is the most technical of TKO wins in history and him having a W had very little to do with him at all, Byrd though slick was in a rare position to have been lucky enough to have been in the ring with big Vit at the right time.

Dude, he missed like 10 punches in that clip alone and thats only the 5th round! The 8th and 9th were the rounds Byrd really made Vit look bad..

            Final Punch Stats

Vitali landed 26% of 502 punches for a total of 132

Byrd landed 44% of 284 punches for a total of 124

An 8 punch lead is not domination by any stretch. The only person who got dominated in this fight was the coward who quit on his stool.

Dude, watch the entire fight before you speak. The clip I showed was from the middle rounds, not the final one that everyone has seen.

              1. The commentators predicted Byrd to wear Vitali down before the fight even started

              2. Vitali thought he was behind on points in the post fight interview

              3. Vitali admitted he had trouble with southpaw style

FAO: MmuhhamedM the ******ed racist black supremacist

Do you want me to post a video of your hero Ali getting knocked down, badly hurt, almost KO'd and saved by the bell against 180 lb bum Cooper?

If a 180 lb bum can do that Ali, then either Klitschko is more than capable of beating the overrated Ali.

                    Exactly.

                    Vitali dominated Byrd.
