negotiations failed last time because both of their egos couldnt settle there pissing match. they broke off negotiations to settle who is more profitable. mayweather doubled what pacquiao did. you can give every excuse in the world why one didnt sell or whatever the lame ass excuses are. well mayweather won the pissing match he gets more clout in negotiations. if manny would have outsold mayweather guess what? we would have seen a 30 day no testing policy or possibly no testing at all coming from pacs side. guess why. because he sold more.
Seems to me that Floyd Fans...

Most Mayweather fans are cool with anything to make the fight happen, Pacquiao fans were more into "Dont bow to Mayweather" even though both fighters would be subjected to the test, Most Mayweather and neutral fans couldnt see what the big deal was until Team Pacquiao made it a big deal.
But again you cannot ignore the fact that Team Pacquiao waste everyone's time back in december when they back out of an agreed deal of OST.
Pac is an ATG fighter and when you shock people and when you get to the top people would throw accusations at you, it comes with been the best in whatever you do.Comment

I know that, but c'mon son, what the **** this boy gotta do to get a fight around here? Seriously, the dude is looking for one last megafight before he retires. Either Floyd want it or he don't. If he do, he'll at least listen to what this boy Pac gotta say.Comment

As you said, we don't know how these negotiations are going. Also, we don't know if there is any even going on.Comment

I believe Arum and Team Pacquiao are trying to pressure Mayweather through the media so they can do the same deal that they refuse in january but the problem is this: Mayweather doesnt give a F**k about anyone or the media and things have change in Mayweather's favour in the last 5 months.
So now we are going to hear more of Mayweather doesnt want to fight us interviews/thread with our favourite Boxingscene journalist (RN).Comment

they have to justify to the bosses why ronnie nathanielz is still on the payroll so your right...

so many boxing fans these days, and dare I say it particularly US fans, are obsessed with how much money fighters make. Why I'm not quite sure, but the number of debates about who is the biggest draw etc I've seen on here is beyond belief. Ricky Hatton was a true household name over here (even your nan would know all about him), but I didn't give a **** - he still isn't a HoFer.Comment

Yeah, right - 5 division champion, beat about 15 world champions, recognized as the best or second best fighter of his generation, the best or second best fighter at 130 of all time but yes, sure your right...
You like a lot of posters here simply have a problem with your own level of expection, that's all - all you guys do is cry - there are 3 levels of crying for your guys:
1. you cry at the start of negotiations: Somebody says I want to fight Floyd and will take his demands. So what's up with Floyd? Is he scared, he knows that he will loose etc. it's the first crying stage.
2. Floyd signed: oh well, all of sudden Floyd should have fought somebody else, because he will beat him anyways otherwise he wouldn't have signed, he would never sign a fight where he knows he would loose. Then you start to discredit his opponent as too old, past prime, to green, not his weight etc.
3. the last stage is after Floyd beat his opponent, you know it all along and he is a ***** for not fighting this guy, which is the guy who is willing to fight him, which starts the circle back at one.
Only because Pacquiao has NOW decided he wants to fight, Floyd has now to come out of holiday, spending time with his family, because Pacquiao has now decided??? It's nice and I want the fight too, but the next fight of Pacquiao should be in November - 5 Months - so where is the problem??? Floyd ain't got to make his decision yet - he has time - so where is the problem - I know you guys are in crying stage 1 but where is the problem...
Mayweather waited for this oppurtinity his whole life - this is the fight which makes him the best of his time - finally an opponent who is respected at the weight, in his prime, even more accolades then him, seems unbeatable - this is his life - this is the moment he knows it - everybody knows it - this is not Pacquiao's fight, this is Mayweather's fightComment
