i think this tear is the last year for floyd in boxing, he will fight try to make the fight with pac, if it get signed he fights him and retires, cuz he has nothing to prove yet, if not he maybe he will fight with someone else and retire no matter what, i think floyd understands that age is coming, and he won't end up like roy.

Bad for a Floyd fan. I reckon the sport would move right along.

Its bad for boxing because it will influence other boxers who dont want to lose their "0" to temporarily retire if challenged by a dangerous opponent.

Now thats what he was saying. He has also said before that he was considering hanging them up. Now he says his mother gave him permission to continue to fight. Its the same thing but you like Pac and hate Floyd so you spin it how you want. Both of these guys talk retiring to show they aren't worried about each other. Its more for negotiating than anything. Its crazy how people are fine with one guy doing it and criticize the other.

Both guys have been great for the sport and contributed a lot. Just because you like one better doesn't mean the other is a bum. Two legends in the the sport that may fight each other. Grow up.

LMAO...the funny thing is I think he was trying not to talk about whats next and wanted to keep the conversation on the kid. That wasn't the time for him to be talking about whats next. What he said effectively killed the talk and brought to focus back.

Why would someone ask him about Pacquiao when the interview was suppose to be on the kid and Floyd making his dream come true?

What did you want him to say without losing any leverage? I'm going to fight Manny Pacquiao next for Armando's last wish?

a 2nd retirement doesnt necessarily mean there won't be a 3rd retirement a year later
