Would Cotto that beat Foreman have beaten Manny? he would of stood a much better chance thats for sure.
You know i still cant make up my mind which was the most decisive factor in why Cotto got away from what he was doing against Manny, was it that the KD broke the rhythm of what he was doing, was it because he got too caught up in trading, was it because Manny had not gotten into his rhythm yet and that was why Cotto had so much success timing his attacks early in the fight, maybe Pac started a little tight, it could be all of these things but im not sure which was more decisive, of coarse Pac fans will say its because he had not yet gotten into his rhythm but........
I picked Cotto to lose to Manny because of his style, but mainly because of Cotto's stance, which used to leave him open to all kinds of punches, however Steward has started to correct that by making him keep his weight central where by he is not putting too much weight on the lead foot and leaving himself so open, Cotto was also content just to get off in the fight rather than come foward and look to seek and destroy, which helped a lot imo, see Foreman is possibly quicker than Cotto and that speed advantage would of shown up more if Cotto had been chasing him looking for a big punch, he would of been able to constantly reset Cotto, but because Cotto was not looking for big punches he was able to get off and react a little quicker with his own counters, plus he was able to stick the jab on Foreman and catch Foreman on the turn.
I wouldn't mind watching a Pac/Cotto 2.
