700,000 buys guaranteed pinoy buys plus the 8 titles in 8 weight divisions plus the ***ish israeli thing equal casual and racial and religious pride buys. 950,000 or 1,000,000 maybe more.

No. The only way HBO is televising any fight of Pacquiao's in the Philippines is if against an opposition like Mayweather and nothing less (and try to pass it as a PPV event no less). Pac/Yuri in the phillipines would have been televised by Solar Sports and would most likely be carried by just Top Rank. Honestly it would have done a lot worse as opposed to it being done here. Like Sig said, he would have made change simply because of the economies of both countries.

as opposed to fighting yuri foreman or other "marketable" options.

name a fight in recent history that took place outside of the US that did well in the US in terms of PPV sales?

I'm still confused how Pacquiao felt weakened by blood being drawn and felt Floyd was bullying him,but all of a sudden he feels it will no longer "weaken him" or "bully him"..in a matter of a few months he is somehow miraculously healed! Amazing...

Anyone who believes Floyd was the one who ran from the first offer must be kidding themselves-especially since now Pacquiao is begging for it (when he KNOWS there will be different conditions-Floyd stated this once the 1st negotiations fell through)...by saying Manny is NOW accepting the offer, you have to consider/ admit a few things-
A-Manny ducked Floyd the first time(remember, even Roach didn't feel Manny was ready, but now since he is close to retiring-he suddenly is???)

B-Manny was lying about the mental effect OST has on him (Manny himself said blood testing has an enormous effect on him...yet he was able to get into hardcore sparring directly afterwards).People will believe anything Manny says as long as he appears as a simpleton with a smile.
Lying is a part of a politicians trade, why would Manny be any different?

I don't think you understand how pinoys operate. Pac probably loses money because of his actual fanbase. 1 pinoy household would have like 10-15 people in there watching his PPV as opposed to having 10-15 seperate ppv buys. So on avg 1 PPV buy would probably equate to like 10-15 people. I think you are vastly over estimating Yuri's draw power. No disrespect to Yuri, but I doubt he could even draw 50,000 buys from the ***ish community. Before his win against a fat Santos, no one probably even knew that Yuri even existed. If Yuri had the same popularity appeal that Pacquiao has to his ***ish community then I can see your point. Otherwise I think you're blowing up the PPV numbers way out of proportions.

according to your magical fairytale logic pacs 700,000 buys is worth 3 times as much as mays 1.4 million buys. you guys have an excuse for every single reason given why he could have played that better. ur like employees that a different excuse as to why your late everyday and then try and argue when your fired and so always blame the employer why you were fired and never accept the truth. im done.

Damn I though this fight was close to getting signed. Instead agreeing to some old **** Team Pac should be serious about this.

I know this is Arums doing.

This ISNT a Pac hate thread. Pac and Roach want it.

                ARUM doesnt.
Cause Arum is an old man maybe...
                Alzheimer's disease

im sure floyd planned the haiti earthquake which eventually lead to mosley falling into his lap...so he could put the finishing touches on this pissing contest.

you're the one talking about foreman being a draw....and you wanna talk about fairytale logic??

ok, you're done. i would be too if i were you.
