the pissing match was about who has more clout for the negotiations. pacquiao thought he was and mayweather thought he was. they broke off negotiations to see who was and mayweather won. pacquiao didnt have to choose clottey. obviously even berto would have been better and more exciting but pac took a gamble in a no name bum. he lost the pissing competition. thats his fault. if the fight doesnt come off blame pacquiaos ego. hes NOT as big a draw financially as floyd and as such will have to play ball. only die hard pacultists will refute this because theyre GOD is infalable.

Floyd should just agree to 50/50 and 14 days cut off, its fair imo. Pac can earned more money fighting Cotto instead but he wants to give the fans the fight they want to see.

i agree on just wanting to see the fight but they should just leave the contract negotiations out of the media in that case. i mean i start thinking money in these arguments not boxing. i like boxing money is something we have to deal with. i really hate these arguments but i get ****** in.

How exactly did mayweather win? Did he get any money from Top Rank or GBP strictly because of the negotiations falling through?

And from what I remember, Clottey vs Pacquiao had already been made before Berto decided to pull out of his match vs Mosley. So how exactly was Manny going to fight him when at the time he was lined up to fight Mosley? And better yet, since when was Clottey considered a bum? Wasn't he the #3 ranked WW when Pacquiao fought him? Who did Mayweather fight in his return again? The #1 ranked LW? I dunno I'm having a hard time with this, whose a tougher match at WW... the #3 ranked WW or the #1 ranked LW. That's a toughy.

So if this fight doesn't come off we can blame Pacquiao's ego when he was the one willing to fight under the commission's rules while the other decides to make the "special" request of OSDT... right. And here we are in June and Pacquiao has already agreed to the bs OSDT, and are only waiting for the other side to green light it. But again, if Mayweather decides to put more hurdles and Pacquiao refuses these "new" terms, it would be his fault again right? Of course it would be, Pacquiao has to abide by Mayweather's rules because it's Mayweather's world. A world where uncle roger can take your boxing equipment, pour some gasoline on it, and light that ****.
