Berto would be thought of a lot more highly if he were a top rank fighter. But I really think he being slept on. Cotto vs Berto is likely, and I think Berto would refuse to lose.

Nah, it ain't happening. plus they saying they looking for his next fight to be ppv, berto ain't never been on ppv headliner so that matchup won't happen. .Chavez vs cotto is more likely than berto/cotto.bob ain't budging , he pitting his stable against each other.

I think a Miguel Cotto and Andre Berto fight is a good one
and I been wanting to see it for a while now. Honestly though,
not liking how these promoters are matching the fighters up
by avoiding the best. Boxing is taking a hit because of the
greed of these promoters.

I think it would be a fairly easy win for Cotto. I think he should take that fight, before taking on a Margarito or Angulo.

Feel kinda bad for Berto. he either has 2 move down or up 2 get a good fight because there's nothin for him at Welterweight. He just needs 2 stay active. I'd advise him not 2 hold out waiting for a big fight cuz he might not get 1.

Alot of people saying Cotto is stronger have no idea what they are talking about. If Berto has anything its strength. He'll be stronger at 154.

Someone that knows boxing has finally entered this thread, thank god. I guess they dont realize that berto has the qualities that cotto just can seem to handle reckless agression, speed and power. Cotto would probably get another beating if he fought berto. Berto is way faster than cotto, and at 147 has more power than cotto. But berto does get chinny sometimes because he rushes in with his face wide open. Cotto is almost always open to an uppercut and berto throws one of the most natural uppercuts I have seen.

berto has not thing that cotto cant handle his only advantage is his hand speed. he is very sloopy bad footwork bad movement and his chin is in question. He has some power but his inside fighting is weak. I would like to see this fight my self is should be a good win and confidence boost. KO late rds

It'd be interesting to see if Berto's speed would follow him up to 154. If it does, he'd outbox Cotto to another ugly decision (as is the norm, because Berto is just horrendous to watch).
