Martinez would abuse him badly. Cotto needs to stay as far away from him as possible.

Williams is more winnable than Martinez. Martinez is on another level.

HOWEVER...one obstacle I can see in that fight......I don't see Cotto fighting in Texas which may be the only place Tony will be able to be licensed.
They could probably do the fight in Puerto Rico.

I like Cotto's chances against Mayweather better than against Pacquiao or Margs. I think fighting a controlled pace would suit him better rather than being forced into a high octane slug fest. If Cotto can bring that jab he had against foreman and be consistent with it, I like his chances against Mayweather.

A rematch with Margs would also be an intriguing match. I think Cotto beats Margs this time since Margs won't have ****ing hardening cement in his gloves in the latter rounds to help him.

Another solid win would definitely get Cotto back on track.

Berto or Margs at 154 would be ideal. Then if he wins, Williams or Martinez.

Yeah we'll see alright. Cotto was taxing his ass in the first half of that fight until those cement started kicking in. There's a reason why Margs was/still is a notorious slow starter and everyone in the world found out why before the mosley fight.
