The Vrgas fight could just be a tactic to bring in Mayorga. or make Judah come around. But i dont know Zab Judah has lost some of his steam from that big win he had against Spinks.

Sorry Miguel Cotto. You too Floyd Mayweather Jr. Hey Zab Judah, don't even think about it. Those fighters will not be making any money fighting Oscar De la Hoya in 2006. The Golden Boy was telling a few in the press today in Miami that he will fight in 2006, May and September to be exact, and the three opponents he's targeting are Winky Wright, Felix Trinidad, and Fernando Vargas.
"I'm fighting in '06 at 147 or 154," De la Hoya said. "I want to fight Trinidad, Winky, or Vargas. Those are the three fights I want for next year."
Richard Schaeffer of Golden Boy Promotions said Oscar won't fight any Top Rank fighters (for obvious reasons), and fights with Shane Mosley or Judah won't be appealing to fans.
"The perfect first fight back would be against Vargas," Schaeffer said. "Their first fight was a great fight, and the rematch would sell out the Staples Center. First Vargas needs to get past Castillejo, and then we shall see."
Why would Oscar want Vargas? He already demolished him in a good fight. Winky, I can understand. I think he only wants Tito now because he knows EXACTLY what to do this time. PLEASE PR fanatics, dont jump on my throat for saying that.

ohhhh yeah!!!! That guy ! the guy who cant break a box of tissue against a Junior Middlweight or Middleweight, the guy who has 11 KO's out of his 25 fights ,yeah i remember him the man who nobody would watch fight even if they were tortured.
Seriously tho everyone is avoiding this guy cause he would seriously hurt any middleweights career, cause they would kill the audience from boredom and without a doubt hurt a contenders chanced of being watched ever again against a real fighter

Ya know STurm to be fair your boy got to fight the most underprepared out of shape Oscar Delahoya that anyone has ever seen-you should at the very least be able to admit that.
I think Sturm won the fight but not by a lot early on Oscar was pounding away,he obviously had no plan for a long fight. A prepared Oscar would probably outpoint Sturm although Felix has to have a whole different mindset now that many believe he beat Delahoya-so maybe it is a u pickem.
Why fight Sturm though? Oscar is not campaigning as a middleweight any longer and is only interested in huge money fights...STurm is not a huge money fight-he was a stepping stone to set up the huge money fight vs. Hopkins. But you dont need me to tell you that your boy was just a stepping stone that a superstar just happened to take with a grain of salt.
In the end Sturm beat Oscar and Oscar could give a **** about it which is why we will never see them in the ring again...as a Sturm fan you should not want to see this fight again, he is a middleweight so you should be hoping for the best middleweight fights available...
How about Ikeke vs. Sturm?
