IMHO If Cotto/Margarito 2 did happen Cotto might lose again. And I'm a Cotto fan.

Its not proven that Marg had illegal wraps in the 1st fight, but it was a back n forth battle from start to end and Marg kept coming. Cotto was bleeding from inside out, serious damage.. This is where if Marg was not loaded, he would probably hurt Cotto again.

Would Cotto like another fight, yes I think he would regardless of the odds. I would like to see it, but I honestly dont think Marg deserves a million dollar payday (even if only for the Mosley wrap-incident).

Thats basically what it comes down to. Nobody prior to Margarito hit Cotto as many times, nobody prior to Margarito, was able to withstand Cottos attack. and Cotto that night, was on fire. It just has to be incredibly demoralizing to fight the best fight of your life, but the other guy can take everything you throw at him and give it back just as good, for a longer period of time.


Its not about what Margarito deserves, its about being a man and facing your conqueror.
