making alotta sense right there,im surprised you havent brought up the fact pacquiao is indeed "fighter of the decade".

i think pac beats floyd because

      a) pacquiao throws alot of punches and with power plus he's a southpaw thats a rarity
      b) mayweather while being an underrated puncher in terms of power doesn't hit as hard as guys like cotto or clottey and pacquiao took those shots pretty well how would mayweather keep pacquaio off him
      c) manny won't be discouraged by the fact that he can't hit floyd he'll just keep throwing punches
      d) mayweather's punch output will be the death of him against manny
e)manny has more than enough boxing attributes like the quick movement and punching from weird angles to be more than enough to compensate for mayweather's brilliant reflexes and boxing skills

this is what i believe anyway

These are all good reasons and most of the reasons I pick Pac to beat Fraud. Workrate alone should bank Pac rounds. Fraud is going to decide to either be defensive first to avoid taking shots and losing rounds. Or opening up to mount an attack and avoid Pac's return shots. Pac loves it when fighters open up. It's where he gets his openings. But if he doesn't open up, we'll just see a Clottey repeat.

          a) mayweather has always lowered his opponents punch output
          b) cotto and especially clottey were not able to throw punches due to constant pressure and when they did they found there home easily. mayweather is alot more accurate than the 2 mentioned and a harder puncher than clottey.
          c) i sort of agree with you there but i guess we will find out if they ever fight
          d) mayweather is a master counterpuncher and the more punches thrown at him, the more opportunities to counter. in my opinion manny will bring the best out in him if manny is able to keep on throwing punches.
          e) mayweather not only has quick movement too, he has an inside game and as far as ive seen manny has none to speak of. Manny will only be really effective at midrange, in close floyd will beat him with his excellent in-fighting.
          just my opinion

deep down I think both Mayweather and Pacman fans have some doubts and concerns about this match up but they will do what ever they can to cover it up, none of you have the balls to come out and say it because many of you guys are not true boxing fans your just a FAN OF A BOXER and when that Boxer falls most of you will disappear, change your screen name and/or jump on another boxers bandwagon

Floyd's Philly Shell is all wrong for the way pac fights. The Philly shell may stop conventional boxers, but not an awkward fighting style like Pacquiaos. Pac's speed is not on par with Floyd's but it is enough to bother Floyd's defense. If Floyd can hang through round 6, he may be able to outpoint Pacquiao.

Pacs speed is not on par with Floyd?

Did you see how Floyd fought Shane flat footed? His foot speed was almost nil.

Floyd is a COUNTER PUNCHER, deadly accurate. He exploits openings, but in no way creates them with any type of speed. The shoulder roll leAves orthodox opponents inches away from his right fist, which comes at you straight and through. Nothing sneaky about it.

Floyd is NOT a fast fighter. He doesn't have to be. He's cerebral.
Manny relies on in and out, quick footwork coupled with body shots. He's got a great lead right hook now thanks to years of training with Roach, who just so happens to preach the effectiveness of the lead hook.

Stop saying Floyd is fast, cuz he isn't. His TIMING is what makes him a challenge, not his speed. Floyd fights flat footed and without a rhythm because that's the best way to read an opponent's rhythm. Keep your guard up, roll with the punch, study where the opponent will be after the jab/hook/uppercut and counter that ass.

look up m@nny or w/e his name is, he got a signature of two gifs where manny and shane r both throwing the right hook left uppercut combo, one which KD cotto and the other made floyd's legs rubbery...same ****, only pac had the faster uppercut and move out range during the time mosley did the the hook and uppercut... its a blueprint on how to KO floyd
