The ref last night was freakin awesome

He just cracked my top 5 best refs list. They threw the towel and he basically said, "fuuck you, no one is quitting on my watch!"

That's a guy who understands the importance of entertainment. Everyone there showed up to see a fight and hopefully see a knockout, not no stoppage due to a leg injury.

Major props to Arthur "fuuck your towel, *****" Mercante Jr.

That's the guy who gave Boreman an extra 5 minutes basically. Don't see how that is good...

I like Mercante alot also. He takes no bull****.

I like how early on in the fight, He stopped the action to put Yuri's mouthpiece in but before that, he got Cotto's corner to clean it and told off Steward for trying to give Cotto instrutions during that break.

I ain't ever seen anything like it lol.

That's not even what happened..lol..he made Cottos corner clean the mouth guard and Steward kept tellin Mercante that it's Foreman's piece and Mercante kept sayin he took it there so Foremans corner wouldn't try to coach him while they clean his mouth guard..lol.Mercante is a G..

I liked when Foreman slipped the 2nd time Mercante yelled "ah ****!!" haha..

Mercante has been great in Cotto fights against Judah, Clottey, and Foreman..definitely one of the best in the game today.

Yeah, I thought Arther Mercante did a great job last night. Even before the towel was thrown, he didn't stop the fight after Yuri sustained the injury and was hobbling around the ring. Alot of refs would have stopped the fight right then and there.....

Also, could you imagine if Mercante was reffing the Williams-Cintron fight? He would've forced Kermit to "suck it up" and get back into the ring and fight....
