Oh yea, Mercante is the man. Him in the Cotto/Clottey fight was great too.

In that fight, Clottey had a piece of tape hanging off his glove and Mercante literally took a pair of scissors and cut off the tape in the middle of the fight, not halting the action for a second.

It was really quite impressive.

I like Mercante alot also. He takes no bull****.

I like how early on in the fight, He stopped the action to put Yuri's mouthpiece in but before that, he got Cotto's corner to clean it and told off Steward for trying to give Cotto instrutions during that break.

I ain't ever seen anything like it lol.

That's a guy who understands the importance of entertainment. Everyone there showed up to see a fight and hopefully see a knockout, not no stoppage due to a leg injury.
