I said before the fight"if cotto loses to this guy he needs to retire immediatly" foreman looked like **** last night(showed great heart) but looked like a one legged rookie...good win for cotto but by no means is he back
Cotto-Foreman: NSB is FULL of ****!

man this is the truth, everyone was saying Cotto was gonna get his ass kicked and whatever. Even Teddy Atlas picked Foreman to win LOL. Now that Cotto destroys him, all of a sudden he's a bum. GTFOH. Only ones I see beating cotto right now are Mayweather, Pacquiao, and Martinez. So prior to last night the big question was "How much does Cotto have left?"..and there was so many threads speaking on Foreman's talent slickness and even underrated power..
To many fans here Cotto was suppose to have his hands full..and Cottos stamina was also in question..
Now..fact is Cotto beat the **** out of Foreman..and now he's a BUM, who can't crack an egg, who everyone all of a sudden knew would get his ass handed to him by the "shot" Cotto right?..lmao!..
I can't believe how the value of this website has tanked so badly..Cotto has struggled in recent years especially after the beating he took by the proven cheater Margarito..whether he loaded up is still a question..and I'll admit beating Foreman really doesn't prove much..
But a few things u can't discredit is Cotto STOPPED an UNDEFEATED Natural 154lber in his first fight at JrMW, his Jab was used a lot more and did WONDERS, and his footwork was beautiful..it was perfect to move at Foremans rythm who's known for his slick footwork..and Cotto cut the ring off and looked powerful even on the move..
So to all the "NSB Experts" EAT A ****!..all u gotta do is give credit when credit is due!..Cotto finally took a belt from a champ and KO'd him..so the vacant belt **** is dead..and he was in the last quarter of the fight and looked fine stamina wise..I know foreman didn't pressure him..but Cotto was on the move the entire time trying to find his target..
Stop finding **** to discredit and be a fan of the sport like you claim to be..Cotto did what many saw impossible..and he still gets ****ted on..y'all know who you are..TRUE BOXING FANS UNITE!!!Comment

Maywetaher never beat Cotto and Pacquiao fought Cotto at a catch weight plus Cotto didnt really have a corner in that fight. he was basically training himself.Comment

Well he certainly proved he has something left.
Foreman was always going to be a different fight for Cotto than the guys that beat him but it was tough to judge where he was at. Foreman is a bigger guy and is a skillful boxer so usually that is not an easy fight especially comming off a bad beating but Cotto handled his business proving he still has something to offer the sport.
I can understand some questions when he fights a guy who is really going to make him push the pace (Williams for example, he throws a lot of punches and basically dares you to hit him) but against the other top 154 pounders he would atleast stand a good chance.Comment
