In that couple weeks the guys ex-wife dies in a fiery accident so he no longer has money issues, you go to him and ask if you can get the same deal but he says no he wants the car still and it is not for sale.

The point is situations change so a deal from before does not always work.

that analogy doesn't work because the situation hasn't changed.

floyd has to realize that he isn't making that much money with anyone else. even if he only get 50 %, that's more than with anyone else.

    • Silly Arum......

This WAS the agreement months ago. Mayweather already stated (VERY VERY CLEARLY) that when and if he beats Mosley there will be no cut off........

There is NO such thing as a "14 day cut off" now.

Why is Pac so edger for this 14 day cut off now when there is NO SUCH thing but not back when negotiations where talked about the first time?

      Don't get it twisted.....

        • Oh well, looks like the fight is not going to happen. Floyd will fight anybody for the right amount of money, and it's no secret that Floyd wants the bigger share. 50-50/14-day cut off was all the way at the beginning of the year and Floyd made it clear the offer was off after the first negotiations were over.

Too bad, they should have agreed to this earlier. Looks like the most anticipated fight of the 00 decade will not happen. People will talk about this fight and who ducked who like DM-RJJ, SRL-Pryor, Prime RJJ-Hopkins, etc. That's just too bad.

this type of post is useless. there is no room here for racism. all we want to talk about is boxing nothing more just boxing. all this crap spoils the debate for the rest of us. real talk.

Bending over backward would be agreeing to whatever Floyd wants currently, but Manny certainly should not do that he should fight for what he truly want so they can agree on a deal that is good for both of them. Just based on how things stand Floyd deserves a better deal than what was being thrown around before and Manny and his team only have themselves to blame for not doing it then.

Still the deal should only be slightly skewed to Floyds side and Manny should not accept less than that~
who cares? its 14 days and 50-50 thats wat needs to be done for the fight to happen

I'm pretty confident that he would do similar revenue with Williams or Martinez as he did with Mosley. So in principle, he would likely make the same getting 65%-75% of the revenue with Williams or Martinez as he would splitting the revenue down the middle with Pac. And guess what, the 65%-75% share he would get would be a fairer deal according to his market value than a 50/50 deal with Pac. So in essance, why take a deal that's not fair when you can make the same money in a deal that is fair?
You think hes making more money than with anyone other than pacquiao... ill stop here. Team mayweather said themselves that this fight is the next logical move due to the MONEY involved

Gullible fans? The only gullible fans out there right now are the ones believing that Pac is on PED's without 1 evidence of proof... NOT ONE..

Originally Pac said no OST testing I want NSAC but now those are gone.. and I bet Floyds asked for a larger split making the fight even more impossible..

My real questions is who is really making the fight difficult.?
