Floyd is a fighter that can make adjustments on the fly. It's all an attempt at mind games by Coach Roach. He knows his guy actually has a chance of getting stopped if Floyd stands in the pocket and counters. He's trying to use Floyd's vanity against him by saying he can't use his legs anymore.

He looked slow maybe because of the heavy leather shorts, similar to the Judah fight, but its only minor he sill looked good vs Mosley

If you watch the Mosley fight, Shane is very slow and sort of flat footed. Why the need to waste energy through jumping back and forth, when you can still not get hit and stand in front of a non moving opponent.

You know, maybe he has lost his legs, maybe he hasn't. Nobody really knows apart from the great observers of the game. Does it make a huge difference though? Probably not, because he's technically one of the most gifted fighters ever...so he can make any adjustments and change his game so that any loss of legs has minimal impact on him.
