Im sick of seeing threads calling Floyd Mayweather a ducker.

if you have seen my posts on this subject in the past you would know i have stated my belief that Floyd never really had any desire for this fight to happen (Margarito that is)....and still doesn't.........but i find it hypocritical of a Pac fan to talk about it with joyous glee when Pac really wanted no part of Guzman and took Cotto in favour of Shane for essentially the same reasons Floyd took Baldomir over Margarito...........

sorry man. if you actually follow boxing like I do. you will know the diff between lineal champ and #1 WW.....marg wasnt given a chance by Mayo..who said he would fight Marg after he fought Forrest..Mayo went to lose to Spinks, he lost top Judah who was approached by Marg's camp and he said "not yet " only to lose to Baldo.. all the while Marg was still ranked #1 under the lineal Champ..Floyd chose SHOTBAY OLD MAN " JUST SPANKED BY kOSYTA "MITCHELL OVER MARG AS WELL.....Both Floyd and Margo were BOTH promoted by Arum at the time..when the INITIAL offer was made.... i know more than you , son.....do some research.....

yes all true.........the funnies thing is actually that camp Mayweather asked Baldomirs ppl (i believe it was Gary Shaw) to offer them an amt greater than the $8mil Arum was putting up for a Margo fight......he offered an etra $1

As I stated earlier it is not my intention to come across as condescending or ignorant of peoples views. I just wanted an intelligent debate on the subject matter.

You will see i am a member of this site as long as you have been. I simply prefer to read the threads than engage in them as most of the threads in this forum are just plain silly and a waste of time-we can surely agree on that. Meaningless back and forth from people with nothing better to do. There are alot of "Champions" and "Legendary" posters on here simply because they post stuff everyday, alot of it pure garbage.

Saying you know more about something over somebody you dont know is a bit ridiculous. I never claim to know more than somebody I have never met unless they post something that is wildly inaccurate. I have already said that Tony was a tougher fight than Baldomir. But why fight Tony for the same money and no WBC belt?

he paid Arum 750,000 to get out of his contract and then fought Baldo, so he made less over all.......PPV would have went more in is favor. Tony wasnt asking for much, just to fight him.....PPV would have been higher IMO being Tony is from mexico and like Floyd said about Marquez " he got a whole country behind him "...Baldo was a one shot wonder....

100% agree Baldo a one shot wonder and Tony would beat Baldomir.

The $750k he paid to Arum was the best bit of business he ever did. Doesnt Arum get something like 27% of manny purse?(i could be wrong on that or it might be outdated but I remeber seeing that figure mooted).

As check hook pointed out Floyd was gunning for the oscar fight, he was calling him out for years. He made $20m+ fighting Oscar...

I would have loved to see floyd fight Tony and Cotto and imo he beats both, Cotto giving him a tough fight, i see Floyd making Tony look like an amateur...

On a different point you might be of help to me. I asked somebody earlier did they have a link of cotto calling out floyd cause if he did i havent seen it.

If Floyd, as some of you put it "ducked" Cotto and Margarito before his retirement then why aren't they calling him out now?
