I'm not a child, or new to the sport. Not even close.

I was just trying to respectfully give you my position on the two fights I would have liked to see him in. Plus the reason why I felt that way.

On A Side Note: I also would have liked to see him fight Margo, but the reason I never bring that fight up is, due to the fact that there was to much going on at the time with Floyd.

Floyd told Margo to keep winning, and look good doing it...Margo then KO'ed Gomez in the 1st round, but struggled against Clottey, then lost to Williams. Now true indeed those were some tuff road blocks (not Gomez so much), but if Margo would have beat Williams, I believe we would have seen Floyd-Margo ( or at least a push for it, I think Floyd was gone by then).

The public would have demanded the fight. I'm a former die Margo fan, and never called Floyd a duck for the situation.
No one can convince me Baldomir was a more viable option than Margarito. Would've been the best fight at welter of this era IMO.

I wanted Margo to **** Baldie so bad!!!

Remember after the Gatti fight (Baldie/Gatti) when Baldie was asked would he fight Margo/ He screamed NO!NO!NO! Margarito!!

That would have stopped the Floyd/Baldie fight in it's tracks.

And yes at the time, the Margo/Floyd fight would have been epic.

No one has convinced me of that yet either, but it is what it is.

Deep down though, I guess I wanted the Margo fight more than anything...I just don't say that on here, cause as you stated earlier, things get thrown around the boards so much, they start to look likes sheild to hide behind.

That would have been a great fight though.

Spaddy did that. A few times. Bitched him out in the media every chance he could.

He even changed his tactics and pleaded with Floyd after the Manfredy fight (HBO).

            Spaddy wanted the fight.
You have raised some fair logical points and respect for that. Also I never said all you have to do is call out floyd and you get a fight. I just said that of the top names that called him out ie Hatton, Marquez and Mosley, and he fought all of them as they were marquee names that guarenteed a nice payday aswell as enhancing his resume. i have already raised my points on the Tony situation.

To the people that argue for Vivian Harris the guy was never near Floyds level and would bring zero $$$ to the table. Fight made very little sense. Who here in all due respect would count that as a top victory for floyd if he ahd fought and beat Harris???

i'm sure there's more. just can't think of it.

                  Floyd called out Kostya Tszyu.

IMO i wouldn really consider the first 3...

While I dont think he ducked Margarito or Cotto but I certainly think he should have fought them. If he had beaten both he would be top 20 ATG imo on everybodys list

Timing is everything in boxing but i would have love to see a Mayweather-cotto fight somewhere along the line before cotto lost.

that's gorilla-dog's style. fight tune-ups and mismatches or retire until everyone else gets beat up and ****** up. then say you don't need to fight them cause they already lost or you'd beat them anyways.
