I knew it aswell. Because if Pacquiao steps up and fights Cotto for his 8th weight class title and mayweather steps up and fights sergio martinez. This will end up with mayweather and pacquiao possible 154 pounds match up.

martinez is on another level. i would give Floyd a good shot in that fight, but Cotto and Pac aren't going to beat Sergio

Cotto need re-evaluate his career

After seeing Cotto's performance I am not convinced that he is at the same level that he needs to be at to compete with fighters like: Paul Williams, Winky Wright (should he decide to fight), PacMan, Floyd Mayweather, Martinez and even Mosley would beat him. He couldn't finish a one legged fighter the has pillows on his gloves. Dont get me wrong I like but lets face it for him to make a full come back he needs alot more.

As for a rematch with PacMan I would put him against him right now. One when you are fighting for a title in a specific weight class its not up to you to demand the champion or even contenders to a contract weight limit. The weight standards are set by the governing bodies not the Fighters sound familiar. Pacman cries about randon drug test but turns around and demands that fighters fight at a contracted weight limit. Yeah for true boxing fans we know the difference.

Pacman demanded the following:
Morales 1 @ 126 instead of 130 where Morales wanted to fight
Moarles 2 @ 130 instead of 135
Morales 3 @ 130 instead of 135 or 140

Cotto had to fight @ 145 instead of 147 & for his own title

Oscar had to fight @ 147 which this Oscar was at fault to agree to these terms.

I take nothing away from Pacman but the Grand Chess Master Freddie Roach is awesome. So I dont understand why they can demand fighters to drop lower then what is require per division in weight but they cry for drug test.

I believe in this concept, Olympic Style Drug testing for the amount of money we pay at the gates and PPV's it should be mandatory not an option. Also boxing should adopt what Pride FC had, 10% deductions for fighters not fighting or taking easy way out.
