Oh, Cotto fans in the stands were also screaming that Cotto would own Pac the way he was owning Foreman and that Cotto would knock Pac out now. Guess they forgot that Pac owned every second of that fight from beginning to stoppage. Margarito may have cheated to beat him, but Pac took his heart, he ruined the spirit. I watched this fight very closely and I believe that Foreman was ahead on points. He had hit Cotto with more scoring punches - sure, maybe they were not knockout shots, but that's not the idea of boxing - the idea is to land scoring punches.

I think that if Foreman had not injured his knee and the fight had continued to the end of round 12 in the same vein, Foreman would have won comfortably.

It's a shame that the fight wasn't stopped after Foreman injured himself, but he showed immense courage by continuing to fight literally on one leg.

Cotto is a great fighter, but Foreman beat him literally in every round until the accident. I would love to see a rematch when Foreman's knee is back to normal.

This is the height of absurd posts; even for Boxingscene. Pac afraid of Cotto? That's about as intelligent as saying Tyson was afraid to rematch Spinks, RJJ was afraid to rematch Pazienza, Chavez afraid to rematch Haugen... What the HELL have you been smoking?!? I like Cotto, but, be realistic for a second. Cotto looked DECENT against Foreman. Nothing more. No way should Foreman have finished the round when he first locked up his knee. The fact that Cotto didn't take him out right then and there should tell you that Cotto is not his old self. Foreman would have been taken out within seconds of hurting his knee had he been in there with Pac.
