    Foreman was winning

I watched this fight very closely and I believe that Foreman was ahead on points. He had hit Cotto with more scoring punches - sure, maybe they were not knockout shots, but that's not the idea of boxing - the idea is to land scoring punches.

I think that if Foreman had not injured his knee and the fight had continued to the end of round 12 in the same vein, Foreman would have won comfortably.

It's a shame that the fight wasn't stopped after Foreman injured himself, but he showed immense courage by continuing to fight literally on one leg.

Cotto is a great fighter, but Foreman beat him literally in every round until the accident. I would love to see a rematch when Foreman's knee is back to normal.

But it was Cotto who had the volume edge 115-329 to 71-281, and no judge had Foreman winning more than two rounds.

Good thing you aren't a judge cuz you really have no idea what the hell you're talking about.

Cotto landed more shots and the more effective shots. What the hell is this "scoring punch" you're referring to?

Just came home from the fight and thought it was a very sad affair indeed. The writer sat in a different crowd than or maybe wasn't there. I sat in a crowd where everything Cotto was cheered to an absolute ear pitching tone. Even when Foreman blatantly slipped on ice or ring mat and Cotto must have been 8 feet away, the Cotto crowd went nuts like a knockout blow was delivered. Yuri could've punched himself and the crowd would have said Cotto is the man. I thought Cotto jabbed his way to a 5-2 advantage, and I was seeing Yuri turning the fight, until the slip (which like I said Cotto was no where by, so it couldn'd possibly be called other) and injured his knee. Yuri stood and traded with Cotto a bit, both landed good, we all know who hits harder. Good **** though. I thought maybe Yuri was milking the injury, but he stopped bouncing and moving. I would usually accredit this to Cotto's power but Foreman had one of his best rounds before, while on the move. The towel was a welcome thing to see! Yuri wasn't winning and couldn't and getting hit(he was also bleeding pretty badly, left eye, nose and mouth)! And the fight was stopped and me and my friends began to exit the arena, but I guess some sadistic ****** found a way for a boxer to take more punishment then even the ones who care about him can help?

BTW, it was sad because, honestly, Cotto didn't do much of anything. He looked horrible at 154. If Foreman was a little faster, or a little stronger... I wonder? Other fighters are, and most are both.

Oh, Cotto fans in the stands were also screaming that Cotto would own Pac the way he was owning Foreman and that Cotto would knock Pac out now. Guess they forgot that Pac owned every second of that fight from beginning to stoppage. Margarito may have cheated to beat him, but Pac took his heart, he ruined the spirit. Cotto reminded me of the shot Vargas
