You came in here looking to get your rocks off.

Dont be knieve, a rematch clause has to be against THE SAME FIGHTER, otherwise it's not a rematch..... is it?

Kinda the silliest thing that I thought I would be discussing here today.

LOL. You're exactly right about what "rematch" implies. Still, I don't understand how Haye can run his mouth like he has the last year and now there is nothing but dead silence....

Be honest, Haye is still very much unproven at Heavyweight. Beating Ruiz, who has always been subpar should not impress anyone. Ruiz could have probably won that fight anyway if he did his usual grab and hold routine.

Anyway, Hayes punching power at Heavyweight is still suspect. He made the Russian giant stumble in the last round. He did foul and rough Ruiz up by the way. He really didn't blast him out of there, did he?

Do you really disagree with these points?

I'm just trying to seriously point out that I don't think Haye has much of a chance with either Klitschko ( based on what we've seen) and I don't think he seriously wants to fight either one of them.

Here's how the fight goes. Haye is athletic enough to score a KO if done early but the odds are, a combo of his bad footwork, poor guard, and low workrate will make him look a lot like Eddie Chambers (who was a great prep fight) but will get broken down early but a natural big heavyweight. Giving up 30+ lbs will kill. I give him a slim punchers chance early but after that, he's toast! I'm dying to see it though!

You mean like Floyd is doing right now by sweating Arum?

Haye's wife is either about to give birth, or has just given birth..... I'm not sure which.

You don't seriously think that Haye is gonna get away with following Vit to Germany just so that he could run his mouth off in person, do ya?

        Give it time bro.

I'm not sure about that. That would largely depend on the ref I suppose.
Haye had enough to keep Ruiz more than honest, so even if Ruiz survived I'm not sure he could have won a decision.

        No, he's a ****er alright.

He hasnt got Tyson or even Tua power, but he can land a punch that will seriously wobble the toughest of heavyweights.

His chin is the part that has not yet been proven at heavyweight imo.

Neither do I. And neither did Valuev, which is why he didn't fight them.

But I do not for ONE SECOND think that Valuev was "scared" of either Klit.

He just never got himself in a good enough bargaining position to make that fight worthwhile. It's only a fkn belt for gods sake. Nikolai would have sold it outright and walked away if the price was right

        No, I completely disagree.

He followed Vit alllllll the way to Germany, then walked into a restaurant wearing a t-shirt showing the K-bro's with severed heads, and then started a fight FFS. For months he made dozens of interviews with various UK/US media outlets slagging the Klits, and promising to knock them out.

No way would Haye fans ever let him forget the way he was shooting his mouth off, and why would he want them to after going to all of that trouble?

Why would anyone risk having a stain on their legacy by intentionally pulling the spotlight onto an opponent that they didn't want to face?

It'll happen bro, just on more suitable terms.

This is kinda like the Floyd/Manny situation.

You cannot expect Floyd to have the same offer still sitting on the table for Manny after beating Shane the way that he did. And you cannot expect that Haye will receive the same bag of peanuts and 2-bro 3-fight rematch clause, now that he beat golem for the WBA belt.

Let me get this straight- Wlad is so desperate to get Haye in the ring that he caved in on Haye's ridiculous demand for a 50-50 split, and still Haye ducks ?

          Dan Rafael (11:32 AM)

My understanding from the Klitschko side is that they offered 50-50 with no options and have been rebuffed.

          This is interesting...

I don't like Rafael, some of his opinions are biased, I think he forgets to take his keep-it-real pills sometimes..... but I doubt that he makes **** up.

Anyone got any more on this ?
