  • Comments Thread For: Vitali Klitschko: David Haye Continues To Be Afraid

The WBC world heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko spoke to Golzka and was quoted as saying that David Haye, ruler of the WBA title, continues to be afraid to fight him and his brother, WBO/IBF/IBO champion Wladimir Klitschko. The Klitschko brothers have tried without success to get Haye in the ring for a fight. [Click Here To Read More]

Maybe I should call out a Klit brother, then maybe i'll get a big name, then when it comes time to step up to the plate i'll back down too. Seems to be working for Haye, might as well give it a shot.

When Haye first decided to move to heavy I thought it was great how he kept showing up and calling out Wlad. Thought it would breathe new life into the division. Turns out he's just a joke and a coward. Too bad.

If you had the WBA belt, they might take you up on it.

The thing is, the UK press is ignoring the fact that Haye is ducking and instead is kissing his ass. If he fights Audley Harrison, they will bill it as the biggest fight of all time. So as long as Haye can live in his UK bubble, he will have no motivation to fight someone who he knows will take his belt.

Don't get me wrong, I think he's out of order and he needs to sign the contract, but it's interesting how the power has switched sides now. The brothers desperately want Haye, while he doesnt seem to want them = him getting offered better and better deals. However irritating it might be, I think hes a clever guy.

Haye is not hiding at all. I think you guys seem to forget why haye pulled out of the fights last time, maybe you should read the interview with chris byrd that was up on ********boxing.com just the other day. If haye would have beaten either of the brother then he would have to fight a rematch right away against either klithsko with no option on a mandatory defense of the titel. What they offered him was a slave contract that he found a way to pull out from while claiming he got "injured"..... No fighter is scared, dont disrespect haye or any other fighter by saying they are scared, if they were they for sure wouldnt be boxersm

wlad has offered haye a 50-50 deal with no options for future david haye fights, meaning no rematches, or fight the other brother fights....

haye is duckign wlad and you know it

stop making excuses for the ducker... and admit that he is afraid
