Yes. He was a man of peace. Anyway he became Sunni later on. What does it really matter? He realised his own faults about turning his back on malcom x and acted to correct them.

The KKK killed people, whereas he didn't. That's a BIG difference isn't it?

If Ali was a racist he had every opportunity he ever wanted to act on it. But he didn't, whereas the KKK did.

          Actions speak louder than intentions.

            There are two Ali's:
Ali the Saint: Which most of the world is familair with, the problem is that guy never existed
Ali the Main: Who was a mass of contradictions and a very misunderstood figure

I get the feeling from reading your posts that the Ali you know is the first one

During the civil rights era he is lecturing and talking to men, who most probably had the bloods of countless black men on there hands. He cant apologise to Frazier, but he can go to the deep south and talk to klansmen?

Ali has now joined forces, with the forces we are fighting against

Look All of that has been negated, by the FACT that ALi realised his own faults.

It is even from a quote from Ali himself. HE said it was the biggest mistake he made.

I would argue with you but it would just prove my point even more. If Ali was Catholic and said the same thing would you agree?

If he was catholic he would not be saying those things at the start.

Also the catholic view doesn't make sense to me. Listen to what he says at the beginning about fearing God. That's what makes sense to me.

                    i wonder...

why is it so that black people can say whatever they want about white/asian people and it is not racist, its OK.

but as soon as a white man says something against a black man that isnt even related to racism, its totally racist? can someone please explain this to me?

It depends on the time period. Are you referring to the video I posted or the 21st century?
