Ali was always very, how should I say it, color oriented. He talked at the KKK meeting how white people and black people shouldn't mix and marry. But I didn't live in that times and I ain't black so I don't know what it has been like back then.

It would be criminal to say the same thing now.

I love how everyone throws the excuse "this was in a different time" to excuse Alis actions, may I use that same excuse when some ignorant mother****er starts talking **** to me for white people enslaving his ancestors 100s of years ago? Different time, different context, right?
I don't really give a **** if Ali was racist, he clearly was and he had a huge chip on his shoulder about it but he's the greatest boxer of all time and he transcended the sport so who gives a ****.

Do you want me to spam your account with lynching and segregation photos?
You've just offended me.

None of it matters though, as he was the greatest boxer of all time so I could care less about his beliefs and views, it's his boxing ability I love and respect.

thanks for ignoring the context again. OF course I accept it wont be right in the 21st century. Who wouldn't?

I guess the KKK was ok because of the "context of the time", they didn't know any better right? Wrong.
All racism is wrong. Outside of the ring, ali was the most arrogant racist piece of **** ever. I'm glad frazier gave him a beat down.

Goodbye.
The context?? LOL. Have you even gone to school?
look up the phrase: African-American Civil Rights Movement.Last edited by Vadrigar.; 06-15-2010, 11:54 PM.
