If Ali said "How about this I'm a human being and so are you let's get along and live together" would the argument would not of been so heated?

Then it goes onto to segregation which is another subject to which he owned her. But at the beginning both are as wrong as each other.

    • Ali was always very, how should I say it, color oriented. He talked at the KKK meeting how white people and black people shouldn't mix and marry. But I didn't live in that times and I ain't black so I don't know what it has been like back then.

what he is saying is completely right within the context of the time.

It would be criminal to say the same thing now.

        • I love how everyone throws the excuse "this was in a different time" to excuse Alis actions, may I use that same excuse when some ignorant mother****er starts talking **** to me for white people enslaving his ancestors 100s of years ago? Different time, different context, right?

I don't really give a **** if Ali was racist, he clearly was and he had a huge chip on his shoulder about it but he's the greatest boxer of all time and he transcended the sport so who gives a ****.

            Yes the context does matter.

Do you want me to spam your account with lynching and segregation photos?

            You've just offended me.

Sure, I don't care about that. You missed my point completely, Ali is wrong about religion (there is no god) and he's a flat-out racist but he's black, so it's okay, right? Nobody sees the lol in this?

None of it matters though, as he was the greatest boxer of all time so I could care less about his beliefs and views, it's his boxing ability I love and respect.

HE is right about religion. lol I'm not an atheist. My logic is different to yours.

thanks for ignoring the context again. OF course I accept it wont be right in the 21st century. Who wouldn't?

                • I guess the KKK was ok because of the "context of the time", they didn't know any better right? Wrong.

All racism is wrong. Outside of the ring, ali was the most arrogant racist piece of **** ever. I'm glad frazier gave him a beat down.

Oh and what was the context? Please explain it to me. I don't care if you're religious, the chance of your religious god being real is the exact same as the flying spaghetti monster being real. There's no man made god, if there is a god you can be damn well sure he's completely different to anything we've conjured up.

well it doesn't matter. I think he is right about religion. I'm not going to bend to your atheistic mindset.

                      Goodbye.

The context?? LOL. Have you even gone to school?

look up the phrase: African-American Civil Rights Movement.
