    Hmm, didn't know that.

Hopefully Harris gets his ass kicked again but i can't see him being that dumb twice.

According to this link it looks like Floyd may move up leaving Hatton with few options.

    Cotto maybe.

        ****.

I can only hope he gets knocked out again. He's the pain in the ass of this division, constantly pricing himself out of fights then accusing people of ducking him.

It's better off without him as a belt holder.

Back when Hatton and that ****** Warren where trying to get a fight set up with him (pre Zoo win), they clearly made unfair demands, and offered **** money to Harris who was the champ with the better stake to fame at 140 at the time. So I don't think it's always Harris who prices himself out of fights.

With that said, I don't see a repeat performace or lack there of from Harris in the rematch.

Harris is getting on my mf'ing nerves. Somebody needs to deep six his ass quickly so he will be out of the picture and we don't have to deal with him pricing himself out of fights, fighting three times in two years, and being KTFO by awkward bums.

I wonder if when he started boxing he said to himself, "you know, one day I'm going to be the recognized champ...but only after I make it as hard as possible to unify the belts."

The way i understand it, Harris was offered something like 750,00 dollars to fight Hatton.

He turned it down and fought Urkal for something like a third of that.

Sounds like an ******* to me.

              Here's the quote from Warren:

              Warren: Hatton vs Maussa?
Promoter Frank Warren said today that a unification fight between IBF 140lb champ Ricky Hatton and WBA champ Carlos Maussa is "an option." Warren acknowledged a rematch clause between Maussa and dethroned champ Vivian Harris, but asked "Who is going to want to watch that rubbish again and which TV company is going to pay for it?" Warren also lashed out at Harris, whom he says rejected a $750,000 offer to fight Hatton. "Harris should have taken the money because now he will have to fight for peanuts," said Warren. "But I knew he was an idiot because after he turned down the fight with Hatton he took on Oktay Urkal for a fraction of the money we were offering him. I've never seen a champion look so bad in the ring. He was unfit and badly out of shape, I don't know what his trainer Manny Steward had been doing with him in the gym

Cotto should fight Maussa in a rematch, so he can get his belt, than fight Hatton/Mayweather winnier mid-late next year.

I think that Harris turned Hatton down more as a slap in the face to Warren for not offering him what he saw as fair. I remember him saying something about Hatton's potential pay well over 3mil when he was one of the big 3 belt holders, and he was getting offerend lesser money then the challenger.

Its funny how Harris was talking **** to Floyd. Floyd would eat Harris elive inside of four rounds.

floyd mayweather looked like a great fighter against gatti but i have a feeling that gatti made him look great, now im not saying he isnt good he is very good one of the best fighters around today but if he fought hatton he would not be able to pick his shots like he did against gatti, hatton would put constant pressure on him and wouldnt leave him alone, test that body and that chin, mayweather would have a comfortable lead around the fourth round but thats when things may turn round,if hatton can catch him and punish that body we will see how fast on his feet mayweather his, what ever the result it would be a great fight i just know that hatton wouldnt get made to look like gatti no way..
