Great read on Sarria, goes into detail about him.
    Thanks for the info
Sarria became Ali’s conditioner, training the Great One, running him through endless hours of sit ups and knee bends, tuning his body while Dundee prepared the strategy for the upcoming bouts.
The article doesn't say anything about him being Ali's trainer though, rather it says he was Ali's conditioner

It's safe to say that nobody really trained Ali to fight the way he did, although he learned from Willie Pastrano and Ralph Dupas.

Archie Moore tried to change his style, something which ali was quite annoyed at.

Similar to buddy mcgirt and malignaggi.

Yeah, I second this. Out of todays trainers I would say Nacho over guys like Roach and McGirt. Steward seems to be good at training long fighters how to keep distance and use their length and jab (one of the reasons why he was so successful in the heavy weight division) but I'm not sure how well he is at really helping a fighter develop and inside game.

It does say that he trained Jose Napoles, Luis Rodriguez, Sugar Ramos and others though, all of which Dundee says he trained.

Futch actually took a fighter from nobody to somebody.
exactly. and don't forget his legacy, freddie roach.
