You'd have Pacquiao, who has a gigantic Filipino/asian following, among others, and you have Margarito who has a strong Mexican follow also among others, plus alot of people would be curious to see his return to fighting in the US again.

Then you have Floyd Mayweather, who's just Floyd. People are going to buy his fights regardless. But part time boxing fans don't know who Martinez is, and they may not be as intrigued. I'm not saying Martinez is an unknown, but there are alot of boxing fans who just watch boxing only when big names are fighting.

Floyd-Martinez. It would even get a 24/7. They would hype it so hard because Floyd is really going against all odds by going up to 160. Also, as far as Martinez not being that well known. Don't worry about it because in the 24/7 those casual fans will see the prettiest man in boxing since ODLH and will hop all over him.

Pacquiao-Margarito will end up like the Clottey fight. It will do decent numbers but it won't be hyped much. Arum doesn't know how to sell fights, he knows he to make money off of fighters but he doesn't know how to get fans hyped up for a fight.

Just look at Cotto-Foreman. Not that much hype, it's been relatively quiet outside of the core boxing fans.

First I don't think Mayweather would ever get near Martinez, he's too big and a southhpaw! If it's that hard to get him to fight a welterweight southpaw how hard would would it be to get him in with a middleweight??

I'm am willing to bet a million points the fight never happens!

          Hmm... good point.
But i'd still like to see my 2 favorite fighters in the ring.

Another, "Floyd won't fight him because he is too big" post. You'd think such talk would stop seeing how Floyd started 130 and has won a title up to 154.

At 160? Im not sure. At 154 i think Floyd would be a favourite to beat Martinez.

              Pac Margarito is a missmatch.
