they were to fight for a Canadian domestic title but rumors has it one of the promoters couldn't get the finacial backing...I'm assuming since tye's wife is running the casino & tye fights out of the venue it must be ray's promoter....I hope that's the case...tye's first show was great.he beat journeyman nicholai firtha & jasen gavern vs cisse salif was the cofeature.I hope there is a replacement fight for tye.

Edmonton is not exactly a hotbed for boxing.it has a good domestic scene but little else.events are always soldout.tye is the best thing we got to decent boxing at a bigger stage.he spends alot of time in vegas & it wouldn't surprise me if they went back there when his wives with the casino is up.I hope he continues to fight here.this fight got cancelled,monte Barrett was suppose to fight local boy sheldon hinton at our outdoor baseball facility.that never happened so this isn't a shocking cancellation.
