This whole money thing is wearing thin because suprise suprise 90% of pro boxers don't acheive anything more than journeyman status. You think journeymen are making millions? No they make the exact same ammount of money per fight that a jouneyman Mixed Martial Artist makes. Seriously there are 4 maybe 5 boxers in the world that make 5-10 million a fight. The rest even at their best make the same exact money. You really think a Cory Spinks or a even a Shane Mosely(pre floyd fight) has anymore money than any other champion in the UFC? ***** please stop overexagerrating!

Yes, Shane makes more, per fight, per year even, then other champ in the UFC.

Why do MMA guys always assume boxers will lose in an MMA fight? Boxers always have a punchers chance.

I don't assume I know they would lose. Just like I know a superstar baseball player couldn't just jump onto any NFL team and be successful. it takeakes years and years of training to be good at "anysport" plus you actually have to be good enough to even make a team much less dominate the sport.

Yeah Mosely was making 10 million a fight when he was fighting David Estrada and Ricardo Mayorga in tiny half empty arenas. I guess his promoters have a money tree in their backyards or something. I'm sure he made 5 milion a fight when he was the lightweight champ still fighting in front of a thousand people at most.

He was one of the most disliked champions ever in the UFC, his "big" wins were against some of the worst HW in UFC history and a win over Tim Sylvia is about as exciting as getting a win over Cory Spinks. It really doesn't mean very much.

Also the HW limit in the UFC is 265 pounds Sylvia weighed over 300 pounds for his fight with Mercer. Yeah he was in top shape LOL!
