Khan signed with Golden boy because he wanted bigger bucks, bigger recognition and to fight in American and become a global star. He could never achieve that with Frank Warren.

Khan can sign with any promotor he wants its his choice because its his career. He doesnt need your permission or your blessings to get a new promotor. He could have signed with Bob Arum who like Frank Warren builds up his fighters, He could have signed with Don King and cut his career short and probably ended up brain-damaged, But no he chose De La Hoya and Roach played a key role in making the swtich from Frank Warren to De La Hoya, Even Warren put Roach on blast for his apparent role.

You make it sound like Khan signed with Goldenboy and flee to America and fight cats like Malignaggi, Casamayor, Marquez to avoid domestic dangermen John Murray and Jon Thaxton.

Team Khan stop being cowards and fight Katsidis. Nobody is interested in the Casamayor fight. I don't want to hear that its a 'keep busy fight.' There are better opponents for this date. I was willing to accept the Malignaggi fight as his debut, but now they need to step it up. No more shot, old, and featherfisted opponents. It is time to put Khan in with a live opponent that would make us think that the fight will be competitive.

This is not news...richard schaefer clearly put the feelers out there and katsidis' camp came back with a ridiculous figure, thus why there was no offer. This guy probably asked for 7 figures which he is not gonna get. If your khan or his team do you fight katsidis taking a lot of the pot, or do you fight casa who has accepted less than £400,000?

Considering it is a stay busy fight the answer is obvious.
