Amir Khan unwilling to fight Katsidis, claims trainer

He will never do that.
Khan will not face the truly good fighters at 140. He will duck, dodge and skirt his way around real competition because of his disastrously weak chin and less than brilliant defence.
Khan has already admitted to wanting to forge a career where he fights old, shot and former great names. 'You have to catch these guys off their peak' are his words.
This is more record padding by Khan as in that disgraceful Barerra fight which should have been stopped in the second round because of the deep gash requiring 30 stitches after Khan head butted Barerra.
In addition, he is with Roach.
Roach will ONLY put his guys against people who they are almost guaranteed to beat. This much is obvious and can be seen for the matchmaking both Khan and Pacquaio choose. Anyone who disputes that Roach picks and chooses suitable opponents because of his fighters strengths/weaknesses is a blind fool. Hence the ducking of Maidana for a good while now and only calling him when he's turned down a career high pay-day against Bradley because of a serious back injury. See the recent stream of feather fisted opponents such as Kotelnik (good fighter in general though), Paulie, Salita, Casamayor (who is also almost totally shot) etc.
Also, see the blatant ducking of the WW champion Mosely after he annihilated Plastercheato.Last edited by Shattered Jaw; 06-02-2010, 01:55 PM.Comment
