Rubbish. When the WBA announced wrongly a couple of months ago that he was going to fight his mandatory against Maidana, everyone gave him props. The criticism started when he ducked his mandatory to fight someone who can't punch.

If he fought any top 10 Jr Welterweight who can punch, he'd get massive props. You're being truly ridiculous.

Even if he were to beat Ortiz, then its "well Ortiz is taylor made for him and he was cherry picking".

If he had chosen to fight Ortiz next, everyone would have fallen off their chairs in astonishment, but then they would have given him props.

He beat Paulie, "hes not a heavy hitter and not that impressive". Though those things were said AFTER Amir killed Paulie.

Even if Khan defeated Cassamayor, Maidana, Bradley, Alexander, Andre Berto, Floyd Mayweather there will be people saying "Those were cherry picked fighters, PBF was a shot fighter".

I don't think its a bad match-up considering the amount of time each fighter will have to prepare. Khan will have about 7 weeks.

It's not bad for a 'keep busy' fight. I suppose he could have faced Prescott, but GBP probs think its too high risk (which it is). But, its good to see a young fighter trying to stay busy rather than fighting twice a year like a lot of guys out there!

Obviously, these types of names will look good on Khans resume and Casamayor will be built up to be some kind of superman before the fight lol

I have now got to the point where I have totally given up on Khan. I was hoping to see Khan step up to the plate and face a real challenge and fight Katsidis. Despite being small this would have been a real fight. But surprise surprise he takes on another great who is now an oldie and past it.I have been a cynical critic of Khan predicting his next calculated moves and I am sick of being right. Wazaa has said that Khan is just going through his developing phase and will take on the top dogs but that is total bollox. How long have we got to wait before he takes on a competitive fight? 1. He said he wanted to fight Miadanda. He wanted to fight him now. What happens? People like you start now ragging him for fighting an injured fighter, but after Paulie, everyone was screaming for that match PERIOD. We all know that Khan ONLY wants injured fighters.

2. Khan would not have much problems with Ortiz. Problem is that, with your comment, you try to come off as non biased, but you clearly just dont like Khan due to nit picking. After the fight, Khan proposes a tourney, most liked the idea. Except the ones who dont like Khan for whatever reasons. It was then, Paulie is too weak, Miadanda is the fight we want now!!!!! Ok Khan proposes it, everyone RIPS him,saying hes picking on a handicap. He wants to fight NOW, and you rip him for wanting to fight now.

Agreed. Hypocrites can never be pleased no matter how much you appease them. It doesn't matter who Khan defeats, whether its Casamayor, Katsidis, Maidana, Bradley, Alexander, or even Mayweather, the hypocrites will never be satisfied until they see Khan get knocked out.
