Now I'm a big Mayweather fan but its great when any fighter recieves recognition but they are streaming down awards on the Pacman and there is none left for my boy Floyd, he works just as hard and should also deserve some awards too. People joke and laugh saying awww is Floyd jealous of Pac winning these awards but truth is he probally is, the guy works so hard, beats everyone with ease and the media refuse to give him anything because they dont like his persona. I genuinly think its harsh he gets no love.

yeah maybe your right he beat his opponent at ease but in reality manny also did with all of them are exciting fight..and you know what...boxing was almost dead but live when manny came in the scene..so i really think this award deserves to manny..

Pacquiao is a very special fighter, no doubt. But in my heart, there is one fighter that is more special; Floyd Mayweather. Floyd without a questionable doubt in my heart and mind is the most GIFTED fighter I've seen in this generation. It will take an Insurmountable effort from any fighter to beat him, even Pacquiao. The only fighter I can foresee defeating "Money" will be, Mother Time. But until then, we'll continue to enjoy the splendor of his talent.

i think floyd is a great fighter too and would beat pac if they fought, BUT Pac is the fighter of the decade. His resume is untouchable: MAB 2x, JMM 2x, morales 3x and then moves up 2 weight classes and beats oscar, then hatton and cotto. not to mention he beat oscar and hatton far easier than floyd did. he's fighting the best and he's winning in exciting fashion. nobody else could be the FOTD

Mayweather ran all night against an old, washed up 36 year old Oscar de la Hoya (Pacquiao stopped ODLH in 8rds)

Mayweather forced Hatton (a small light welterweight at that) to move up to 147, too much weight for Hatton and finished him in 10rds (Pacquiao needed 2rds at Hatton's natural weight of 140lbs to retire him)

Mayweather forced Juan Manuel Marquez (a natural featherweight for gods sake) to move from 135 to 144, then Mayweather disrespectfully comes in at 146lbs
