Joe Frazier is the idol of pacquiao when he started boxing, it's from joe where he copied his bobbing and weaving moves.

Now I'm a big Mayweather fan but its great when any fighter recieves recognition but they are streaming down awards on the Pacman and there is none left for my boy Floyd, he works just as hard and should also deserve some awards too. People joke and laugh saying awww is Floyd jealous of Pac winning these awards but truth is he probally is, the guy works so hard, beats everyone with ease and the media refuse to give him anything because they dont like his persona. I genuinly think its harsh he gets no love.

Pray tell why is there a fighter of the year award in June?

What have either him or Floyd done in the last twelve months that deserves an award?

Is it because their ring generalship is so good it extends out of the ring and they end up avoiding each other as much as possible?

What have they done boxing wise in 2010 or even the lasrt twelve months that deserves an award other than avoid each other?

Someone else desrves this.

Manny was sent an award letter at then end of the year for his FOTY & FOTD which he accepted, and they are having the ceremony in June like they always do. Again this is for 2009 (FOTY) and FOTD from the Jan 2000-Dec 2009

No doubt he works hard. But that so-called villain persona he and Ellerbe made and cultivated doesn't work wonders on the mainstream media as a whole. That image worked against him. Besides FMJ retired 2 years earlier, and he is more worried about PPV numbers more than that award....or is he?
