Casamayor was a very good boxer but he is very old and has not done anything lately to suggest he even posts a threat to any of the top 5 of the JWW division.

He did beat Katsidis in a war which was a very good win but I feel that was his last great performance. There was the robbery against Santa Cruz, getting KTFO by JMM and then looking poor against a 11-4 opponent.

For a stay busy fight, its not bad, but seriously dont delude yourself in thinking this is some sort of a test for Khan. Taking on a guy who's past prime in a weight class which Casamayor has only fought one time in isnt a test. Theres a reason why their matching Khan with Casamayor for a stay busy fight, because they know its almost a sure thing at this point in Casa's career.

Not a good test, its just a way for Kahn to get a name on his resume, keep his fragile chin in check, all the while making money, we see through the bs.

He has no business at 140 and won't be able to test Khan's chin. Katsidis was reputable in the fact you know he would go after Amir's chin and it would be tested.

As long as Khan supporters don't seriously consider this as a great notch on Khan's resume I would be fine with it. Khan people should know this is a stay busy fight and never consider it anything more.

If Khan wants respect he needs to decide whether he's going to fight like a prospect or a world champion. To gain respect as a champion he needs to fight live world class competition. Casamayor doesnt cut it at this stage of his career.
