His chin wasn't great, but it wasn't glass. He took some solid shots from Freitas, who hit harder than Castillo, Mayweather and Casamayor IMO. Going into his fight with Chico, Freitas had KTFO all but 3 of his 35 opponents, and he was able to score knockdowns against 2 of the guys that took him the distance.
I think him getting up does say something about his punch resistance though, or at least his powers of recovery. It's not just a matter of heart, although he obviously had a lot of that too. Some guys can get knocked down rather easily (by world class standards) and yet recover pretty well. JMM and Tito for example. I think Floyd probably would've finished him off if the fight had continued, but the fact that Corrales was hurt and then managed to recover his senses several times suggests that he was the kind of fighter who recovered quicker than most.
