Screw the WBO belt, it means nothing anyway. This whole act is why fighters shouldn't pay these ridiculous sanctioning fees. Everybody knows who the MW champ of the world is, no matter what these criminal sanctioning bodies do.

They just made this giant presentation of giving him the 160 lbs belt and brought in all of the local media and some puerto rican boxing athletes, and now they give him the shaft because he has a WBC belt at 154? That doesn't sound right at all and if i was fighting for a WBO Belt i would be thinking of how they could possibly screw me for no good reason.

The WBO is losing a lot of credibility by pulling this stunt.

Normally when the words Sergio Martinez and stripped are together in the same sentence its a good thing but it is very ****ish of the WBO not that it matter because Sergio IS the lineal and thus real MW champion with or without any belts.

Let the WBO give some other obscure fighter some recognition just like the WBC did Sergio 2 years ago with that vacant interim title he won from Bunema.
